In this case, we worked with Arauco, a leading company in the forestry industry that faced several challenges regarding the efficiency and maintenance of software development processes. One of the most critical points had to do with the fragmentation and duplication of processes, which reduced efficiency in managing workflows.
This scenario led the customer to look for new tools to incorporate into their processes, and that's when the name GitHub appeared in the list of options.
When contacting CleverIt, Arauco expressed interest in different solutions in the GitHub ecosystem: GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Advanced Security and GitHub Copilot, identifying an opportunity to solve the challenges mentioned above. For this reason, as GitHub partners, we worked on a Proof of Concept (PoC) so that the customer could test these tools first-hand.

The path of this Proof of Concept was not without challenges, especially in terms of how to include the customer's work structure in the test project migration. In this regard, Arauco's proactive role in strategic decisions was key to the success of the PoC.
Working together with CleverIt brought Arauco a successful ending, as it clearly illustrated the key results that could positively impact their development teams when migrating to GitHub, such as rapid pipeline execution and more efficient deployments. The Proof of Concept allowed our client to:
The Proof of Concept acts as a step prior to a migration, offering the organization a complete view of the landscape; in this case, Arauco was satisfied with the results and can now make an informed decision regarding future tools for its development processes.
Arauco will not only be able to improve security and quality aspects of the code, but also considerably improve its final product and implement industry best practices.
