CleverIT, as a partner that accompanies you in your business improvement processes, played a crucial role in helping a government entity overcome the challenges of its modernization program. In this process, their main pains included recurring incidents in migrated applications, limited releases in production due to incorrect functionality, service crashes, delivery delays, and other problematic points that undoubtedly affected their ability to provide a good experience to their end users.
To address this need, CleverIt proposed the DevTestOps implementation, an approach that focuses on the automation of functional, load and regression tests. By integrating these tests into CI/CD flows, we seek to optimize the certification process and ensure the quality of customer applications.
This project directly addressed the problem points faced by our client, achieving a 60% reduction in incidents in production environments by detecting errors in previous stages. The frequency of deployment in production environments was also increased, with biweekly deployments. In addition, service level indicators (SLI) for public-facing services were improved.
Finally, the customer team became a guardian of good practices, successfully adopting the changes proposed by CleverIt. This has resulted in a improvement in the satisfaction of its internal and external customers, and positive feedback from its top managers.
By implementing the practice of DevTestOps and taking advantage of our “Quality as a Service”, the customer was able to transform their software development processes and significantly improve the quality of their applications.
