Our client, a retail company, was looking to take its technology operations to the next level and improve its systems. Collaborating with VTEX, our client had already implemented an e-commerce platform across the region, but needed to develop the logic to divide orders for Colombia based on specific business rules.
To achieve their objectives, our client worked with a CleverIT multidisciplinary team that ensured proper execution and delivery. The equipment was self-sufficient and followed the procedures agreed with the customer in the development, unit tests and production steps. Using cutting-edge technology, the Clever team developed the logic to divide orders for Colombia based on specific business rules, allowing our client to use the e-commerce platform that was recently implemented in the region.
The project achieved great technical results, such as the development of a logic for dividing orders for Colombia based on specific business rules without affecting the existing logic operating in Chile and Peru. The consumer left the shipping groups assigned to stores or distribution centers in the database after applying business logic for each order consumed from the RabbitMQ queue. The team carried out unit tests that achieved more than 80% coverage.
